Installation

Download affimatic.zip on your computer

Go to your WordPress dashboard: plugins/add New Plugin

Add new plugin: Upload Plugin

upload affimatic.zip (It should be on your computer download directory)

Click “Install now”

If you have already an older version installed you’ll get this screen:

Choose Replace

Go to Plugin Installer to activate your plugin

Dashboard / settings /options

On your WordPress dasboard you can go to the Affimatic settings (Affimatic Dasboard on the side menu)

The Dasboard should look like this:

You have 4 tabs:

Home

Amazon settings (Amazon API keys)

Update Settings (delay between 2 calls to Amazon API)

Style setting (Styling of the affimatic Block / rendering delay of the block after loading of the page)

Most of items are self explanatory

Rendering delay is the delay in milliseconds between the loading of the page and the loading of the affiliate block.

After loading of the page, a PHP function in backend waits “Rendering delay” ms before loading the Affimatic block.
You can put this delay to 0 ms if you don’t care about robots seeing that you have affiliate links on your page.

Too long a delay can be bad for user experience.

500 ms is a good compromise.
